
About Talking Sex Together (TxT)
(TxT) is an adolescent pregnancy prevention program sponsored by the Iowa Department of Human Services in collaboration with FutureNet, the Iowa Network for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention, Parenting and Sexual Health. The objective of the (TxT) program is to decrease adolescent pregnancy in Iowa by generating peer-to-peer dialogue about pregnancy prevention and disseminating medically accurate information about safer sex and abstinence.
About FutureNet
For over a decade, FutureNet's statewide leadership network of individuals and organizations has been working to educate, organize, and influence. FutureNet leads the effort in Iowa to ensure that service providers across the state use science-based practices in all teen pregnancy, parenting, and sexual health education programs. The mission of FutureNet is to support within Iowa a leadership network concerned with issues of adolescent pregnancy prevention, parenting, and sexual health.
